Job Summary
Evaluate patients, establish measurable goals, and implement treatment programs to restore function following injury or disease. Direct care delivery by assistants, maintain clean equipment, and accurately enter patient charges. Involve patients and families in care planning while accommodating individual needs. Complete all documentation within regulatory time frames and participate in educational meetings and performance improvement activities. Supervise affiliated students and volunteers as requested. Maintain departmental equipment and treatment areas in a safe manner. Adhere to time and attendance policies and attend relevant educational programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from accredited physical therapy school with a BS/MS or DPT
- NYS PT license or permit
