Job Summary
Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in the facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs, preferences, and goals. Actively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans and deliver documented interventions including active and passive exercise, muscle reeducation, gait training, and modalities such as massage, heat, and electrical stimulation. Supervise Therapy Assistants by providing training and instruction to implement Functional Maintenance Programs, while also educating staff, participants, and caregivers on therapeutic equipment use. Maintain a full schedule with no documentation required after work hours, supported by 17 days of PTO, 12 observed holidays, and a 401K match. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
- Valid California Physical Therapy License
- Proof of license eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree
- Two (2) years in clinical setting with frail or elderly population
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
- Outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience
