Job Summary
NHC HomeCare Midlands is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to supervise and apply physical therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of patients with disabilities, injuries, or diseases. Responsibilities include coordinating physical therapy services, providing treatments as per physician orders, instructing physical therapy staff, and evaluating treatment plans with established goals. The candidate must hold a BS or MS degree in physical therapy, be licensed to practice, and preferably have one year of supervisory experience. Commitment to patient well-being and teamwork is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a BS or MS level course in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Must be licensed or registered under the statutes of the state in which the physical therapist will be practicing
Desired Qualifications
- One year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred
