Job Summary
Evaluate motor delays and functional mobility needs to determine PT service requirements for students accessing the curriculum. Provide direct and consultative interventions to enhance physical independence within the least restrictive environment. Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to design special education programs, implement classroom accommodations, and adapt school environments or materials. Support students by modifying curriculum demands and addressing obstacles limiting academic and social participation. Adapt quickly to changes in student response, team needs, and educational activities while maintaining consistent attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5-years' experience in PT
- Ability to handle multitude of varying and complex issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Solid technical skills
- Demonstrated Organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously as a PT as part of a larger varied team
- Consistent and on-time attendance
- Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
