Job Summary
Evaluate, develop, and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans to restore physical function, relieve pain, or prevent dysfunction in pediatric patients. Write and maintain skilled documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries while accurately completing billing for services rendered. Educate and support parents or caregivers in daily care and long-term strategies, and monitor treatment plans based on child progress. Assess natural environments such as home or daycare to recommend functional adjustments, and provide instruction on specialized equipment like wheelchairs or braces. Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to deliver comprehensive care while managing a caseload split between outpatient clinic services and in-house ABA center visits. Travel within the city to partnered centers with mileage reimbursement provided.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Minnesota PT license (or eligible by start date)
- Travel within the city to ABA centers is required
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred
