Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' physical, functional, and mobility needs. Develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic exercises, and monitor patient progress while modifying plans as clinically appropriate. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on safety and independence strategies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and participate in interdisciplinary meetings. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with federal, state, and payer requirements. Earn $38.00-$45.00 per hour at Neulife Rehabilitation of Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Kentucky Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for Kentucky licensure
- Successful completion of the academic and clinical requirements of a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) as required for Kentucky credentialing
- Successful completion of the Kentucky Physical Therapy Jurisprudence Examination as required by the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy
- Must satisfy all applicable Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy credentialing requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or other educational credential that satisfies applicable Kentucky licensure requirements
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment-planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
