Job Summary
Assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination. Collaboratively develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care reflecting each patient's goals, needs, and lifestyle. Deliver skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain. Track meaningful patient outcomes and adjust your approach based on progress and clinical presentation. Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
- CPR and first aid certification
- Experience with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatment as a licensed therapist or during clinical rotations for new grads
