Job Summary
Physical Therapist – Mobile Outpatient Therapy provides outpatient rehabilitation services in-home for older adults, evaluating and treating patients in private residences or independent living facility rooms. The role develops and delivers individualized physical therapy programs, identifies referrals to other disciplines, and collaborates with the rehabilitation team to address patient needs. Responsibilities include supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and staff as applicable, maintaining schedule and documentation, conducting patient care conferences, and educating patients and caregivers to promote independence. The position offers a flexible schedule in various home settings and is supported by a full-time salaried arrangement (35 hours/week) with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field with a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
- Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from patients’ residence
