Job Summary
Physical Therapist providing in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults, primarily in private residences or independent living facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing and delivering individualized therapy plans, coordinating referrals to other disciplines, supervising PTAs and aides as permitted, maintaining clinical and billing documentation, and participating in team care conferences. The role emphasizes functional training, therapeutic exercises, gait and balance work, neuromotor development, and education for patients and caregivers. The position offers a flexible in-home setting with a full-time schedule (35 hours/week) and opportunities for cross-country travel via the Journey Travel Program. The role supports H-1B visa sponsorship and relocation assistance. Requires a valid Physical Therapy license, a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent), and eligibility to practice in the U.S., with flexible pathways outlined for international credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s in Physical Therapy related field with Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy plus 5 years PT experience
- Qualifying PT degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated for U.S. equivalence
- Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to/from patients’ residence
