Job Summary
Evaluate and treat older adults in home settings or independent living facilities by screening, examining, and developing individualized physical therapy programs. Deliver therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities while instructing patients and caregivers to promote independence. Manage comprehensive care by making referrals to other disciplines, adapting plans based on patient progress, and ensuring safety through falls assessments and hazard elimination. Supervise therapy assistants and support personnel as required, complete clinical and billing documentation, and maintain equipment. Work a flexible 35-hour week with a $5,000 bonus and enjoy a mentorship program, CEUs, and travel opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- Valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
