Job Summary

Conduct school-based physical therapy evaluations and implement evidence-based interventions for mobility, balance, and functional participation. Develop IEP goals, service plans, and progress-monitoring systems while contributing diagnostic information aligned with IDEA and Colorado eligibility criteria. Provide direct support for students with disabilities, including those with 504 plans, and collaborate with educators, SLPs, and families to promote inclusive access to school environments. Train staff on safe transfers and adaptive equipment usage. Full-time or part-time role with a caseload aligned to FTE assignment; eligible for full benefits at 30+ hours weekly.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Colorado PT license and/or CDE Special Services Provider (SSP) license in Physical Therapy
  • Training in motor development, functional mobility, and school-based PT practices
  • Experience providing school-based PT services to students with disabilities
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting diverse learners
  • Experience with adaptive equipment, mobility devices, and functional skill development
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based PT service delivery
  • Skill in functional, motor, and mobility assessments
  • Strong communication, cultural responsiveness, and documentation skills
  • Must be a Colorado resident

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience providing remote consultation or tele-PT preferred
