Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Directly supervise patients and oversee rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification to provide care consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Requires full-time 40-hour weekly schedule Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule, no weekends or holidays, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods. Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Monday through Friday schedule
- No weekends or Holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
