Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations using goniometry and manual muscle testing to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions. Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as Graston and Dry Needling, and modalities to reduce pain and improve function while educating patients on injury prevention. Document progress accurately in Epic Hyperspace and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless, patient-centered care. Supervise a dedicated 1:1 Physical Therapist to PTA ratio to ensure continuity of care. Maintain a valid Illinois license and pursue continuing education in advanced techniques like Blood Flow Restriction Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in orthopedic settings
- Board certification in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine
- Experience working with athletes and/or post-surgical patients
- Proficiency with Epic Hyperspace EMR
- Strong manual therapy skills, including (but not limited to) Graston, Dry Needling, MDT, and Mulligan techniques
