Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for promoting independence, while supervising therapy assistants and students as required. Direct activities to maintain health, consult with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens, and adapt plans based on individual progress. Ensure safe environments, order supplies, and maintain accurate documentation of all services. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments with full-time role security.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
