Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence, perform routine reexaminations to modify care, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to address comprehensive patient needs. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, and students in accordance with state licensure requirements. Ensure adherence to established plans of care, maintain timely documentation, and promote a safe environment by identifying and reporting equipment needs. Complete 13-week nationwide assignments with flexibility to travel the country.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
