Job Summary

Assess patient needs, screens, and evaluates patients to establish diagnoses and impairments. Develop and deliver individualized physical therapy programs designed to restore function and promote independence. Implement therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities while instructing patients and caregivers in essential skills. Direct activities to maintain health, adapt plans based on individual progress, and supervise therapy assistants and students. Make referrals to other disciplines and order necessary supplies or equipment. Ensure patient safety by identifying hazards and maintaining a safe environment. Complete timely documentation of services and attend staffing conferences. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments across various settings including skilled nursing, outpatient clinics, and home care.

Required Qualifications

  • valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
  • available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
  • The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
