Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, and instruct patients and caregivers in skills promoting independence. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses, determine improvement timelines, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device training. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while adhering to state licensure requirements and professional standards. Direct activities to maintain health, consult with the rehabilitation team to select therapeutic regimens, and ensure timely documentation of all services. This Journey Travel position requires nationwide assignments for 13 weeks with the ability to temporarily reside outside your primary home.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
