Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Identify referrals to other disciplines, implement individualized therapy plans, and instruct patients and caregivers in skills promoting independence. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while ensuring adherence to plans of care and timely documentation. Conduct screenings, examinations, and evaluations to establish diagnoses and design treatment goals, utilizing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Order supplies, maintain equipment, and adapt plans based on individual patient progress. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments with full-time role security.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
