Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across skilled nursing, outpatient, and home-based settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, design treatment plans, and implement therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence while supervising therapy assistants and students in accordance with state licensure requirements. Direct activities to promote health, consult with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens, and adapt plans based on individual progress. Ensure timely documentation, maintain equipment, and enforce safety standards in a caring atmosphere. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments with full-time benefits, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a clinical mentorship program.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- Available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapist primary home
- Qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
