Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for promoting independence while modifying plans based on progress. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements. Adhere to established care plans, schedule staffing conferences, and ensure timely documentation of services. Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety protocols and managing equipment needs. This Journey Travel role requires nationwide assignments for 13 weeks and includes H-1B sponsorship and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
