Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, design treatment plans, and implement therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence, consult with the rehabilitation team, and adapt plans based on individual progress. Supervise therapy assistants and students as required, ensure safe environments, and maintain accurate documentation of all services. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments while adhering to state licensure requirements and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
