Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses and design individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities while instructing patients and caregivers in skills for independence. Direct activities to promote health, consult with the rehabilitation team, and adapt plans based on patient progress. Supervise assistants and students as required, ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate documentation of all services.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
