Job Summary

Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans involving therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, functional training, and modalities. Instruct patients and caregivers in essential skills to promote independence, while supervising therapy assistants, students, and support personnel. Direct activities to maintain health, adapt plans based on patient progress, and ensure safe environments by identifying hazards and managing equipment. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team, attend care conferences, and maintain timely documentation of all services.

Required Qualifications

  • valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
  • available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
  • The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
