Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence, modify plans based on progress, and ensure safe environments while documenting all services. Supervise therapy assistants and students as required. This Journey Travel role involves nationwide assignments for 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
