Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop and deliver individualized physical therapy programs, and instruct patients and caregivers in skills to promote independence. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while adhering to state licensure requirements. Consult with the rehabilitation team to select therapeutic regimens, order supplies, and maintain equipment safety. Ensure timely documentation of services and participate in staffing conferences. This Journey Travel role requires nationwide travel for 13-week assignments with a salary range of $55.00 - $70.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
