Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Instruct, educate, and train patients and caregivers in skills essential for promoting independence, while adapting treatment plans and performing routine reexaminations to modify care. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses and design individualized therapeutic techniques including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements. Ensure adherence to established plans of care, department schedules, and timely documentation of services. This Journey Travel role requires nationwide assignments for 13 weeks with the ability to temporarily reside outside the primary home. Salary ranges from $55.00 to $70.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
