Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Identify referrals to other disciplines, implement individualized therapy plans, and instruct patients and caregivers in skills promoting independence. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, determine improvement levels, and design treatment goals. Execute therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities while documenting services and maintaining equipment. Supervise therapy assistants and students as required, adapt plans based on patient progress, and consult with the rehabilitation team. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, residing temporarily in new locations.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
