Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings nationwide. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, design treatment plans, and implement therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence, while directing activities to promote health and maintain safety. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens, make referrals to other disciplines, and adapt plans based on individual patient progress. Travel 13 weeks to locations outside your primary home, ensuring timely documentation and adherence to established care schedules.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
