Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses and design treatment plans covering therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence while directing activities to maintain health and promote safety. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select therapeutic regimens, make referrals to other disciplines, and adapt plans based on individual patient progress. Ensure timely documentation, order supplies, and maintain equipment standards. This 13-week Journey Travel assignment requires nationwide mobility and temporary residence outside the primary home.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
