Job Summary
Physical Therapist Journey Traveler travels nationwide on 13-week assignments to assess, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs; collaborates with rehabilitation team to address patients’ needs, educates patients and caregivers, supervises PT Assistants and students as required, maintains documentation, selects therapeutic modalities, designs adaptive devices, promotes safety, and coordinates care across settings while staying flexible to work across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license and eligibility
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- availability to travel to and temporarily reside outside of the therapist’s primary home
- degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. PT degree
