Job Summary

Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Implement individualized therapy plans to restore function, instruct patients and caregivers in essential skills, and make referrals to other disciplines. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to established care plans. Adapt treatment regimens based on patient progress and perform routine reexaminations to modify plans. Ensure a safe environment, order supplies, and maintain equipment. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses and treatment goals. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments with flexibility to work in skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care.

Required Qualifications

  • valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
  • available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
  • The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
