Job Summary

Assess patient needs, develop and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, and instruct patients and caregivers in skills promoting independence. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses, determine improvement timelines, and design treatment plans covering therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device application. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while adhering to state licensure requirements. Direct activities to maintain health, order supplies, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe environment free of hazards. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments across skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care.

Required Qualifications

  • valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
  • available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
  • The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
