Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence, direct activities to promote health, and consult with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while ensuring timely documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and effective delivery of rehab services. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments with full-time role security and H-1B sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
