Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, restore function, and promote independence. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device training. Instruct patients and caregivers in essential skills while directing activities to maintain health and safety. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to address comprehensive patient needs and ensure timely documentation of services. Assignments span 13 weeks nationwide with flexibility to work in skilled nursing, clinics, and home-based settings. Full-time and part-time roles offer Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, plus free CEUs through Medbridge.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
