Job Summary

Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and adaptive device training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for promoting independence, modify plans based on progress, and direct activities to maintain health. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel as required. Ensure adherence to the plan of care, maintain timely documentation, and consult with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens. Promote a safe environment by enforcing hazard elimination and managing equipment maintenance. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments while residing temporarily in locations outside your primary home.

Required Qualifications

  • valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
  • available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
  • The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
