Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver individualized physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation across various settings. Screen, examine, and evaluate patients using appropriate tests to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, and design treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training. Instruct patients and caregivers in skills essential for independence, perform routine reexaminations to modify care, and make referrals to other disciplines as needed. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel while ensuring adherence to established plans of care and timely documentation. Maintain a safe environment by identifying hazards, ordering supplies, and managing equipment repairs. Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, residing temporarily in locations outside your primary home.
Required Qualifications
- valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
- available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home
- The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy
