Job Summary
Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy with assessment and evaluation, develop and execute treatment plans to maximize functional independence, document according to department and payer guidelines, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, discharge planning, education for patients and families, supervision of PTA/ATC/PT aides, data entry in EMR, and participation in billing and coding seminars. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required, Doctorate degree preferred
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Experience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferred
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
