Job Summary
Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to devise creative treatment plans, then execute daily plans of care including initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning. Administer tests and measures to synthesize results into diagnoses, goals, and prognoses while establishing and modifying treatment plans based on best practices. Provide education on ADLs, therapeutic activities, and equipment use, and oversee support staff including PTAs and aides. Collect and record patient care data in the EMR, manage daily billing, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
