Job Summary
Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses, administer tests and measures, and synthesize results to formulate diagnoses, goals, and plans of care. Execute daily treatment plans including musculoskeletal interventions, therapeutic exercises, and modalities while providing education on ADLs, transfers, and equipment use. Collect and record patient care data in the Prompt EMR system, manage daily billing, and oversee support staff such as PTAs and aides. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to modify care as needed and initiate discharge plans. Maintain patient confidentiality and operate in a high-energy environment focused on healing and functional independence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
