Job Summary
Conduct daily patient evaluations, administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, and formulate individualized treatment plans to improve pain tolerance and functional independence. Collect and record care data in the Prompt EMR system while managing daily billing and communicating with interdisciplinary team members. Provide patient education on activities of daily living and community reintegration, oversee support staff including PTAs and aides, and initiate discharge plans as needed. Synthesize evaluation results to adjust goals and referrals, ensuring all interventions comply with department policies and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
