Job Summary
Conduct daily patient evaluations, administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, and formulate individualized treatment plans to improve pain tolerance and functional independence. Record care data, progress reports, and discharge plans in the EMR while managing billing and productivity metrics. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide education on activities of daily living and community reintegration, overseeing support staff including PTAs and aides. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory guidelines for all clinical and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
