Job Summary
Conduct initial evaluations, administer tests and measures, and synthesize results to formulate diagnoses, goals, and plans of care. Execute treatment plans through musculoskeletal interventions including therapeutic exercise, joint mobilization, and modalities while providing patient education on ADLs, transfers, and equipment use. Record daily care data, billing, and progress reports in the Prompt EMR system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, oversee support staff such as PTAs and aides, and initiate discharge plans as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure all interventions comply with regulatory guidelines and department policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
