Job Summary
Conduct patient evaluations, administer tests and measures, and synthesize results to formulate diagnoses, goals, and plans of care. Execute treatment plans including musculoskeletal interventions, exercise prescription, and modalities while providing education on ADLs, transfers, and community reintegration. Collect and record patient care data in Prompt EMR, manage daily billing, and oversee support staff such as PTAs and aides. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to modify care plans and initiate discharge procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and operate in a high-energy environment focused on healing and functional independence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
