Job Summary
Conduct daily physical therapy evaluations, administer tests and measures, and synthesize results to formulate diagnoses, goals, and treatment plans. Execute established plans of care through musculoskeletal interventions including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and modalities while providing patient education on activities of daily living and community reintegration. Collect and record patient care data in the Prompt EMR system, manage billing, and oversee support staff such as PTAs and aides. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to modify care as needed and initiate discharge plans. Maintain patient confidentiality and operate in a high-energy environment focused on healing and functional independence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
