Job Summary
Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education to restore function and relieve pain. Monitor and document patient progress in a timely manner, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and ensuring accurate electronic documentation. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies to improve recovery. Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal, state, and professional regulations while contributing to the efficient running of the clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations
- Ability to prioritize, organize, coordinate, and perform a broad variety of tasks and stay focused on the objective in a high-stress environment
- Required to work at the IRG clinic
- Responsible for your own transportation to and from the work site
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of clinical experience
- Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings
