Job Summary
Conduct initial evaluations, reevaluations, treatment planning, and implementation for referred patients under the mentorship of a licensed Physical Therapist. Document all patient records, charges, and prescriptions accurately while adhering to accreditation guidelines and professional ethics. Maintain effective communication during team and family conferences as assigned. Participate in educational activities and special projects within the department. This role supports the development of current Physical Therapy students or recent graduates preparing for licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Current student within a Physical Therapy program
- Recent graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- Satisfaction of all prerequisite coursework
- Eligibility for an internship through your program or school
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
