Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments and supervise assistants, aides, and students to ensure high-quality care. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes and utilization review audits. Contribute to program development strategies and attend interdisciplinary meetings. Requires a current Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and ability to lift heavy items and ambulate patients. Schedule 20 weekly hours at Intermountain Health in Bountiful, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
