Job Summary
Conduct screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treatment of injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments and supervise assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program. Engage in quality improvement processes, including utilization review audits and safe equipment use. This role supports the Physical Therapy department at Intermountain Health in Bountiful, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
