Physical Therapist

Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals, and manage all aspects of patient care including supervising assistants, aides, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes and utilization review audits. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers, and contribute to program development strategies. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and professional work groups. Requires current Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and ability to lift heavy items and ambulate patients. Full-time schedule at Intermountain Health in Bountiful, Utah.
