Job Summary
Conduct screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treatment of injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Manage all aspects of patient care and supervision, including overseeing assistants, aides, and students. Develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments and participate in quality improvement processes and utilization review audits. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation and accurate billing. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to achieve department goals. Work in the Physical Therapy department at Intermountain Health in Bountiful, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
